We are Helping to resolve pain points for clients by Designing space that creates an emotional connection for the buyer, and Selling properties quickly and for top dollar.

Since 2009, we have focused our energy and resources into creating a strong business model and provided our team members with top notch training for one reason, YOU, our client. We are a full service company, which means it's easier for you. Our Home Staging business has a warehouse that allows us to have furniture, artwork and accessories rentals to clients and to get the job done quickly. The Interior Redesign services gives you a Stylist equipped to provide any need or want necessary to your home.

Our services started with Homeowners and Realtors using us for Home Staging, then repeat clients wanted us for Interior Redesign, and as the seasons changed clients wanted their house decor to reflect that. As our work and service started receiving national award recognition and our brand became better known in the industry, Builders and Investors started trusting us to help make design decisions for model homes while construction is taking place.

Whether you are selling your home, buying a home…or just need a change in the atmosphere of your home, Sue Kauffman & Company LLC is here for you! We will work side by side with you to get that look desired for your home. The way you live in your house versus the way it's marketed for a buyer are very different from one another.

Our Process

The Consultation


Occupied Property:

  • This is a detailed, room-by-room two (2) hour assessment, where the home owner takes notes on all recommendations given by the Lead Stager.
  • Recommendations on what to depersonalize, furniture and accessories to remove, flooring & wall color changes, lighting & hardware fixture updates, flooring & window cleaning, and exterior pressure washing are given.
  • We work with many professionals in these areas, so we trust any referrals to work with excellence for our clients.
  • Before pictures are also taken at this time.

Vacant Property:

  • The Lead Stager will quickly preview each area that will be Staged for furnishing purposes, and take before photos. This is usually less than one (1) hour, unless major updates are required.

Complete Your Assignments

  • Prioritize the recommendations made by the Lead Stager. Please note that the more visual items, like paint, carpet, and lighting fixtures make some of the biggest impacts on your potential buyer.
  • Determine when you want to put your house on the market to help keep projects on task.
  • Pick a Staging Package that fits your budget. It's our job to tailor any package to meet your needs.

Staging Day

  • With the home clean and projects finished, now is when our team works our magic. Depending on the size of the project we take two-six hours to complete the staging task. Everything is meticulously placed and there will be a 'model home' feel no matter the size, age or price of the house.
  • A professional photographer is provided as part of our service, so it your property can be optimized to buyers online. More than 90% of buyers look online first, so you get less than five seconds per photo to make a lasting impression.

About Sue

Sue Kauffman started this business in 2009 because she was trusted by friends and had an eye for design in their homes. Through this process, she realized the huge need and opportunity for Staging homes that were going on the market. Thinking like a buyer, she set out to start a business that would help client's sell their homes faster and for the maximum value. She is a certified staging professional, who has earned her staging and redesign accreditation through HSR (Home Staging Resources). A member of HSRA (Home Staging & Redesign Association) and RESA (Real Estate Staging Association), she has earned the title of RESA-PRO, as she continually increases her skills through continuing education, keeping her apprised on current trends and the changing industry. Sue is also a member Houzz, and local business associations. Sue Kauffman and Company LLC serves all areas of Central PA.
